"Just a bit about me.

 

I was born and raised in the Netherlands, with a farming background and a mechanical mind. I was always eager to learn and explore. As a kid, my mates and I were always building stuff - huts, treehouses, you name it. During my learning phase, I started working as a mechanic on farms. Later, I moved to New Mexico (USA) to work on one of the largest dairy farms in the country. While in the remote desert, I realised that you have to do things yourself. Slowly, I converted my mechanical skills back to my old passion for renovating old farmhouses, transforming them from old, falling-apart wood boxes into new, liveable homes.

 

I learned the most in Iowa (USA), where I started working for a builder. These adventures led to more opportunities. In 2016, I moved to Australia, where I have lived since then. I have actively contributed to the construction of new-age eco-homes, incorporating energy-efficient systems and materials to reduce the carbon footprint and promote sustainability. I extended my experiences and knowledge by working all over rural Western Australia. Now, it's time to settle down and put all my experiences and knowledge into my own Home Renovations business."
